Two Scottish Schools make final list of 3DReid Student Prize

3DReid have announced 7 finalists for their 4th Student Prize, the largest practice-run award in the UK with a first prize of £1,500.

Originally only 5 were to be shortlisted but as Group Director, David Stanford explains: “We were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the entries this year so the judges decided to put through another five entries to join the 2 students who won the online vote, which attracted over 3,400 hits.”

The online winners were:
Dan Moor – University of Bath
Joseph Murphy – University of Strathclyde

They are joined by:
Nicholas Szczepaniak – Westminster University
Jon Morrison – Mackintosh School of Architecture
Jordan Hodgson – Royal College of Art
Gavin Lowden – Northumbria University
Dennis Kolesnikov – University of Cambridge

The public will again have the opportunity to vote for the first ever Public Choice winner. Details will be announced early in July.

The overall winner will be revealed on the evening of the 16th July, after the external judges, which includes Deborah Saunt of DSDHA and Richard Waite, news editor of the AJ, have cast their eyes over nominations
